Bring back Modi for three more terms, says Bhyrappa

Mysuru: Batting for Prime Minister , national professor and noted novelist on Friday felt it would be ‘foolish’ on the part of voters if they don’t reelect Modi.
“Modi has to win not just in 2019, but also in 2024 and 2029. Otherwise there will no future for this country,” Bhyrappa told reporters at his residence in Mysuru, after receiving a copy of a booklet containing the achievements of the Modi-led BJP government, from Mysuru MP .

Extolling Modi as an exceptional person, the writer claimed there may be people more brilliant than Modi, but there is no one “as dedicated as him and who worked relentlessly for the welfare of the nation. Political parties have teamed up for the ensuing election, only with the motive to defeat Modi. None of them has the confidence to work like him”.

In the past four years, Modi has taken India to new heights on the international stage, and the world views India from a different perspective. All credit should go to him for promoting yoga, he said. After scanning the BJP’s booklet, he claimed that Modi has achieved more than what is printed in it.

“I would like to ask the PM’s opponents what after they defeat Modi? The cards are stacked against Modi but we’ll have to ensure his victory in the parliamentary elections,” Bhyrappa said.

He said that the political groups that have come together don’t have vision, and the educated and enlightened class should educate voters on this score in the interest of the nation.

The octogenarian writer is a national research professor appointed for a period of five years by the Modi government.
